Krone Méthode Cap Classique adds orange to their Vineyard

Tulbagh, a town named after the Dutch Cape Colony Governor Ryk Tulbagh, is located in the Tulbagh mountain basin in the Winelands of the Western Cape. The town is known for its wine farms as well as its large farming community, and is home to Twee Jonge Gezellen Farm; producers of the well-known Krone Méthode Cap Classique.

The 300 year old farm was recently restored to reflect its heritage and contemporary renaissance in 2017. With that came the purchase of two Kubota M8540 Narrow tractors as well as a Kubota B1820 with a cutting deck.

Belhambra Dairy adds a new L45 to their farm

Geelhout Boom is a small town near George in the Western Cape on the coastal stretch of the Garden Route. The town is most commonly known for its golf courses but also its farming community and is home to the Belhambra dairy farm.

The farmlands are approximately 200 years old but was bought by Greg Powell – a civil engineer in 2001. The farm was developed from farming hops to a now fully-fledged dairy, producing approximately 200 000 litres of milk monthly.

As part of its replacement programme, Kyalami Country Club has taken delivery of a new Toro Reelmaster 3575-D mower from Smith Power Equipment, the first Toro machine to cut its way at this Top-30 golf course in South Africa.

When seeking to replace its existing fairway mower, Kyalami Country Club decided to go the Toro route for the first time.
