M7 A new flagship tractor for Kubota in SA

Visitors at Nampo Cape 2019, which took place from 4 to 6 September in Bredasdorp, had the opportunity to see the most powerful tractor in the Kubota range available on the South African market, the powerful M7-172. Denene Erasmus and Jeandré van der Walt reports.

The past year has been one of many highlights for the Japanese headquartered Kubota Corporation. The company announced the launch of its most powerful tractors yet produced. Farmer’s Weekly reported in August (FW, 23 August) that Kubota previewed the M8 Series for its North America market at the end of July.

JetSport: Smith Power appoints Bloemfontein dealer JetSport

As part of its drive to better serve its customers across all regions, Smith Power Equipment, an importer and distributor of leading global agricultural machinery, turf equipment and off-road vehicles, has appointed Jetsport as the new dealer for its Linhai and Polaris ranges of off-road vehicles in Bloemfontein.

Effective July 1 this year, Jet Sport is now the authorised dealer of the Linhai and Polaris ranges of off-road vehicles in Bloemfontein, the capital of the Free State province in South Africa. The company, which also offers trail rides and day outrides, will supply the full range of both Polaris and Linhai all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and sides-by-sides.

Why Kubota are the leaders in vineyard and orchard tractors

Kubota South Africa is committed to working with its customers to adapt to industry trends. One market it has specifically focused on is orchards, with a range of open-station and cab narrow tractors.
